Everybody Needs To Read This

This link to an entry on the Bloggess was left in my comments section by one of my favorite bloggers who maintains two amazing blogs. Out of The Mire and The Sexpeditions of Lady J. It is a powerful piece that everybody struggling with depression and anxiety, or who cares about someone who does, should read.

  1. Thnaks for the suggestion: I went through all the similar symptoms. What helped me the most was changing my diet, and doing tai chi/meditation. Great post and I look forward to sharing more with you:))

  2. I’m glad it spoke to you. I thought it might. It’s quite powerful. I hope you have a blessedly restful weekend, C. God knows, you deserve one! Best…

    P.S.

The Bloggess just might be best known for this post: http://thebloggess.com/2011/06/and-thats-why-you-should-learn-to-pick-your-battles/ It is uproariously hilarious. I read it and immediately announced, “This woman is a Texan!” Sure enough, she writes for the Houston Chronicle. What can I say? It takes one to know one. Read it and weep tears of laughter. Laughter heals…

    • Christ that sould come with a disclaimer. I started laughing out loud at “This chicken will cut you” and had to get up and walk away at “knock knock mother fucker”. I have found very little in this word that laughter cant fix. For what its worth I find that I laugh a lot easier without Klonopin in my system.

      • LOL!!!! I have a friend who bought a few “Baby Beyoncés” and now proceeds to leave them around the house for her husband attached to post-it notes when she’s feeling extra passive-aggressive. It’s priceless. Of course, he’s a bit like Victor and sees no humor in it whatsoever. Her girlfriends, on the other hand, think it’s the best thing in the world!

I know…”This chicken will cut you!!” I love that she bought new bathroom towels finally and embroidered “Knock, Knock Motherfucker” on all of them. And, I love the Victor isn’t amused. Now, when you buy chicken at the grocery store…you’ll think of Beyoncé, the pointy chicken. You better watch out, that chicken could cut you!!!!
